Coverking’s Custom Silverguard Plus Car Cover is made from a dense, 300-denier polyester material with a reflective, water-resistant coating on the outer layer and a soft, non-abrasive lining on the inside of the fabric. A great choice for all-around car-cover use, the Silverguard Plus is suggested for most weather conditions, except extreme rain, snow or ice. Silverguard Plus gives the same protection as our original Custom Silverguard Car Cover but has an additional inner fleece-like layer that further protects your car’s finish. Silverguard Plus goes through a tensile strength test, tearing test and anelongation test, so we can proudly tell our customers this polyester material is both strong and durable. But we don’t stop there: Coverking puts Silverguard Plus through water-vapor transmission tests, surface-water repellency tests, moisture vapor tests as well as hydrostatic pressure tests to prove its resistance to water, then we laminate the cover twice with polyurethane for extra protection. The top layer of Silverguard Plus—as its name suggests—is silver coated to repel UV rays away from your car. Accordingly, Silverguard Plus protects against extreme heat (perfect for vehicles that reside in the sun-beltstates), abrasions, moderate rain and snow while simultaneously maintaining breathability.
