The Coverking Custom Fit Molded Dash Cover in Carpet is a polycarpet dash cover molded to the exact contour of a specific vehicle's dashboard rather than draped over it. The molding process yields a contoured shell that follows every curve and vent opening, and the pattern is engineered around airbag deployment areas, sensors, and other dashboard features. Functionally, the cover interposes polycarpet between the dashboard and incident sunlight, mitigating the fading, cracking, and warping that ultraviolet exposure produces over time. The matte carpet surface also diffuses reflection toward the windshield, reducing glare during daylight driving. Installation requires no drilling or modification, and the non-abrasive underside preserves the dashboard's original finish beneath. For select models, we have available exact replica molds for your dash cover. Made from sleek polycarpet, the molded dashboard covers do not have any traditional stitching. Instead it uses a technique where the carpet is heated and molded to the curvature of the dash. This results in a very sleek dash mat that would not warp or curl over time.
